Friendship is Sweet

There is nothing like friendship. If you have someone you can call night or day and talk to them about anything, that's a friend. A friend is always there for you. They go the second, third, fourth mile and more because they don't count or keep a record of miles. They just keep on loving you because love has a short memory. It forgets that it gave so much the last time. It forgets when you forgot to say thank you. It forgets how much money it spent. It forgets all the special days you forgot to send a card or gift. Love just keeps on keepin' on, no matter what.

Every person needs a friend. To go through life without friendship would be the worst possible existence on the planet I think. Loneliness can dry and shrivel up the soul. No one should live life alone, without a friend.

Tonight I thank God for you, my friends. I have a lot of you and I wouldn't want to live this life without you. I want you to know that I love you and will do my best to be there for you like you've been there for me. All 2,221 of you and more.
